Events and Race Times (there will be wave starts of max 30 runners. First wave will go off at times shown and then at 2 min intervals.)

Please note: ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE DEVON TEAM AT THE INTER COUNTIES MUST ENTER THE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Parking is available at Exeter Arena. Please observe guidelines on social distancing.

Access to this area will be signposted. PLEASE USE THE PATH NEXT TO THE RAILWAY LINE DO NOT CROSS THE COURSE OR ANY RUGBY PITCHES

SENIOR ATHLETES SHOULD NOT BRING ANY SPECTATORS WITH THEM AND JUNIOR (UNDER 18) ATHLETES CAN BRING ONE ACCOMPANYING PERSON WITH THEM WHO MUST BE REGISTERED ON THE SYSTEM. FULL RISK ASSESSMENT IS AVAILABLE HERE >>>

Limited toilets are available in the clubhouse but on a strictly controlled basis. Face coverings are required to enter building. No changing available. There will be portable toilets available near the start.

The course is undulating grassland. First Aid will be provided.

Race information and numbers will be available from a tent near the Start area in Eastern Fields. This will be a COVID secure area where only registered athletes, supporters and officials will be able to enter.

CLUB VESTS MUST BE WORN AND NUMBERS MUST BE WORN AS ISSUED
Numbers must be securely attached to the vest by 4 pins (please bring your own) so as to be clearly visible and worn on the FRONT of the vest.

Medals will be awarded to the first team in each race. Senior Men 6 to count, all other categories 3 to count. The first 6 finishers for a Club in the Senior/Vet Men's Race and the first 3 finishers for a Club in the Senior/Vet Women's Race will score as the Senior Team. The first 3 Masters to finish will score as the masters A team, the next 3 as B team etc. even if they score in the Senior team. Medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd individuals and to the first 3 teams in each race. (Masters individual medals in each 5 year age group) DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS NO MEDALS WILL BE PRESENTED ON THE DAY. Results will be published on the evening of the event. No results on the day. Medals will be forwarded to clubs when possible. THE START AND FINISH AREAS WILL BE COVID SECURE AND ONLY REGISTERED COMPETITORS AND OFFICIALS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THIS AREA. There are public areas near the course but we will be requesting that any members of the public avoid close proximity to the course. If you are not a registered supporter then you will also have to follow those rules.

Please be aware that you must abide by the following Terms and Conditions at the time of entry and on the day of the event. If you live in Tier 3 area please do not attend the event in line with Government advice.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
I declare that I will abide by the rules of UK Athletics, I agree that the organisers will not be liable for injury, illness, damage, action claim or expenses which may arise in the consequences of this event. I accept that trained medical providers will provide medical support and I declare that I will not compete in this event unless I am in good health on race day and I compete at my own risk If unable to participate a refund will not be given.

I, the participant, hereby confirm and agree that I wish to participate in the competition; and in doing so I confirm that:
(i) I do not have, and nobody in my household has (including within the past 14 days), any of the symptoms of coronavirus, as set out on the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/, including without limitation a high temperature, a new continuous cough, or a loss or change to sense of smell or taste;
(ii) I will immediately inform the activity provider if I (or anybody with whom I have been in close contact) develop coronavirus symptoms. In such circumstances I shall follow the Government's guidance in relation to self-isolating and I shall not attend the activity provider's premises or facilities;
(iii) I will comply with all relevant guidance, rules, policies and advice published or made available from time to time by the Government, the World Health Organisation and the activity provider in relation to coronavirus, including without limitation in relation to applicable social distancing measures;
(iv) I understand and accept the potential risks associated with returning to play in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, including without limitation the risk of unintended transmission of the disease, and I will comply with all of the activity provider's reasonable instructions in connection with coronavirus;
(v) If required by the activity provider, I agree to complete a medical declaration form prior to being permitted entry to the activity provider's premises or facilities. I acknowledge that any failure to do so may result in access being denied; and
(vi) I give my consent to my personal data (including any 'special category personal data', such as data pertaining to my health) being processed by or on behalf of the activity provider, in accordance with the terms of its Privacy Policy. Further, I consent to my personal data being used for the purposes of health and safety, including without limitation in connection with the Government's coronavirus 'Track and Trace' policy.

Will be held at Exeter Arena on Sunday 12th May.

The Devon 10000m Championships and mile races at Exeter on Wednesday 19th June.

England Atheltics SW Reginal Championships 2017

After finishing runners up to Wiltshire last year, Devon will be entering teams again this year.

The two events are:
1. Glastonbury Round the Tor 10k, Sunday 30th April.
2. The Great West Run (half marathon) Sunday 15th October (date TBC)

Runners wishing to be considered for selection or clubs wishing to nominate runners for selection are invited to phone or text team manager, Dave Phillips - 07868 494168. Teams of 6 men and 6 women for both events.
